This year we have assembled a group of speakers who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to address various challenges and issues affecting Manitoba’s pork industry. Addressing today’s challenges will help Manitoba’s producers remain competitive in the future.

The 2023 Manitoba Swine Seminar will again host a series of presentations that provide useful information for anyone associated with the pork production business and present ways that each participant can contribute to the long-term sustainability of the pig industry.

Included among the topics to be discussed at the 2023 Manitoba Swine Seminar are: an update on the state of the industry, discussions on trade, African Swine Fever, financing a new barn build and sow management. The Seminar will also be looking ahead to 2030, examining what might be just around the corner for the pig industry

The Manitoba Swine Seminar has received tremendous support and interest over the past 35 years. The 2024 Seminar will be held at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre located near the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport. This is a large facility with many amenities to accommodate the participants attending the Seminar.
